October 22 , 2007 Downers Grove home represents the best in the Housing Industry for 2007 Downers Grove based Oakley Home Builders has received the prestigious Silver Key Award for their new construction project located at 120 4th street in Downers Grove. The annual Key Awards for excellence in housing design has become an industry standard for innovation in design and technology. Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, the Key Awards have been recognizing the best in housing design for 35 years. Over 300 entries were received and three judges were tasked to review each submission and rate them on individual criteria in each category. The Silver Key Award was awarded to Oakley Home Builders in the Custom Home under 3,200 sq feet category. Co-Owners Steve Sobkowiak and Ryan Dunham seem to be taking this most recent accolade in stride. Steve said, “The most important feedback we receive is from our customers. Their satisfaction is paramount to our success. That being said, being considered one of the best in the Chicagoland area as judged by our peers is a huge honor.” Ryan Dunham went on to add, “We knew when we submitted our entry that the competition would be very tough. We also knew that we had a beautiful home and in the end I believe the judges recognized that.” The winning home was recently purchased by Rob and Athena Pruim before it was announced that it was a 2007 Key Award winner. “We were thrilled with the home from the moment we walked inside,” Athena said. “Knowing our dream home is award winning only validates that it is something truly special and unique.
