Area builder featured in luxury home tour

Oakley Home Builders, based in Downers Grove, has been selected to participate in the Chicago Luxury Home Tour taking place throughout the Chicago area this month.

The tour is showcasing million-dollar homes in Barrington, Batavia, Burr Ridge, Deerfield, Glencoe, Glen Ellyn, Highland Park, Long Grove, Naperville, New Lennox, St. Charles and Sugar Grove. It started the weekend of Sept. 7 and continues Sept. 14 to Sept. 16 and 21 to 23.

Oakley Home Builders was selected to showcase its newest property, at 357 Maple Ave. in Glen Ellyn.

Oakley was started in 2004 by Steve Sobkowiak and Ryan Dunham. In the past four years, Oakley has achieved a 700 percent growth in business, with more that 90 percent of its new development taking place in the western suburbs.
