Kicking Off a New Project
We are so excited to share our latest custom project in Clarendon Hills with you! This family is looking for a home that will grow with them and their two young kids. They're hoping to build the perfect house for nights at home with friends and eventually the hosting spot for all the best playdates. The front elevation features a striking blend of crisp white masonry and vertical board-and-batten siding, anchored by twin dramatic gables that give the home real presence from the street. Large black-framed windows punctuate the façade beautifully — tall and generous on the upper level, flanking the entry on either side — while the clean limestone surround at the front door adds just the right amount of weight and formality.
Smart Flow & Everyday Function
The angled view from the front reveals how thoughtfully the garage and driveway are tucked to the side, keeping the main face of the home focused entirely on that welcoming entry. A sleek black iron fence defines the yard without closing it off, and a tall exterior chimney rises quietly above the roofline, hinting at what's waiting out back. The garage has ideal storage for two cars, a handful of bikes, and whatever other toys and mobiles the kids will grow into.
Rear Exterior & Outdoor Living
The rear of this home opens up beautifully to allow for a seamless transition between seasons. A generous covered porch, finished in the same warm board-and-batten as the main body of the house and anchored by an outdoor fireplace, extends the living space well beyond the back door and provide comfort for hot summer days or chilly fall evenings.
